아스텔앤컨 SP1000의 코도반 가죽 케이스입니다. 코도반(Cordovan) 가죽은  말엉덩이 부근의 가죽으로 조직 (shell)이 치밀하여 광택이 아름답고 내구성이 큰 고급 가죽입니다. 한 마리의 말에서 오직 작은 원형 크기의 가죽 2장만을 생산하기에 가죽 자체가 희소하며 가격 또한 고가입니다. 본 제품도 소량의 스페셜 에디션으로 아름다운 우드 케이스에 넣어 납품되었습니다. 제품 사진에서도 우아한 코도반 가죽만의 광택을 느끼실 수 있습니다. 본 케이스는 일본에 위치한 Fujitou 사의 가죽을 직수입하여 제작하였습니다. 코도반이라는 이름은 스페인의 코르도바(Cordova) 지방에서 처음 제조된 데에서 유래했습니다.

Cordovan is an equine leather made from the fibrous flat connective tissue (or shell) beneath the hide on the rump of the horse. It is a difficult and expensive to make this leather because one horse produces only two small pieces being round-shaping. We manufactured small amounts of the cases for a special edition as well. The leather was imported from Fujitou company located in Japan. Cordovan derives its name from the city of Cordoba, Spain, where it was first produced by the Visigoths in the seventh century. We hope that from this case does the customer feels elegance in cordovan itself.
